What are summers for, but to take advantage of the sunny weather when we get it in the UK and the evenings being light enough to hang outside in. We recently decided to take advantage of this and head out on a Sunday evening to go walking from Cautley to Sedbergh.

There is a public footpath that takes you from St Marks through the fields all the way into Sedbergh so you can reward yourself with a cheeky pint at one of the local pubs, like we did, if this takes your fancy. There are a mixture of paths and just fields and we did miss one of the gates, but otherwise there are signs if you look for them. As for the countryside scenery, well the landscapes were stunning and in total we came across cows, sheep, lambs, pigs, rabbits, birds, chickens and even Emu. It was like our very own uk safari.

The walk (4.76km) took us 1hr 15minutes and if you would like the map when visiting, Damian can get you a pdf of where to go. Joanne only had her phone with her on this walk, but here is a little visual guide on what there is to enjoy. There are a few stiles if you are taking your dog walking so something to consider.
