We knew we wanted our studio and St Marks to be used for all kinds of activities, but little did we know that it would turn out to be perfect for a diver’s hangout. This is just what we were told when a group of scuba diving instructors and students arrived to stay with us recently.
This group of divers were training at Capernwray Diving Centre, just 30 minutes away and for them, a more luxurious stay in a house as opposed to a cheap hotel, or hostel, worked out more cost effective, especially when they self-catered.
We have a lobby with an entrance next to the drive for them to store tanks and hang up their wet gear after a day’s diving. The studio space next to this proved useful for checking equipment, planning dive schedules and training feedback.
